STREETLIGHTS
2022 - INVITED TO THE COOKOUT
Debuted at New York Fashion Week, marking a transformative moment with the introduction of the brand’s first-ever womenswear line. Inspired by designer Chelsea Grays’ childhood memories in Cleveland, the collection symbolized the comfort of home and the power of community, blending deeply personal storytelling with bold, utilitarian design. Using sustainable fabrics, intricate detailing, and a socially charged narrative, the collection redefined luxury streetwear as a beacon of connection, resilience, and self-expression.
INVITED TO THE COOKOUT
The Cookout. This collection explores the identity of Blackness through cookouts. Cookouts, in particular, are symbolic because it brings togetherness. While the future is unclear and unprecedented, there is still hope that racial injustice will dissipate and unity can be created. By the use of warped screen print and textiles such as linen and tapestry, the brand conveys a euphoria that brings hope for better days to come.
FASHION IS OVERSATURATED
Homage to 2020. The collection is referencing, police brutality, protesting, coronavirus, voting issues, and other issues that took place around the world. Casting light on those issues by using images from older eras as inspiration to reference what took place in 2020.
ORGANIZED CHAOS
Organized Chaos Collection combines bold creativity with social awareness, drawing inspiration from the challenges of homelessness in San Francisco and the artistry of Basquiat. Known for its unisex designs, the brand features handcrafted textures, mix-and-match prints, and innovative silhouettes that challenge conventions while telling powerful stories of resilience and community.
